Miles Bridges: He’s the most promising player on the team at this point and definitely one of the building blocks. The only way that can go down is to either attach a combination of multiple future assets/young players to the deal or by bringing in someone whose salary is even more bloated. Nic Batum: As mentioned earlier, getting off his contract isn’t going to be easy. The only potential deterrent is the $15 million he’s owed after opting into the final season of his contract. Marvin Williams: He’s perhaps their most tradeable player given his stretch-four ability and his well-deserved reputation as a solid veteran locker-room presence. Luring him to Charlotte will not be easy. But Rozier reportedly will also garner interest from other teams scouring the point guard market like the Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks. Rozier is also a scorer and a playmaker, which is something the Hornets sorely need with Walker’s exit. One option could be Terry Rozier, whose qualifying offer is expected to be rescinded by the Celtics so they have enough cap space to sign Walker to his mega-deal. Where do the Hornets go from here?
